Aluminum Heat Insulation Sheet

This project involved the supply and installation of high-performance aluminum heat insulation sheets onto a large-scale commercial metal deck roof. The primary goal was to tackle extreme indoor temperatures and lower overall energy cooling costs for the facility.

Before we began, the uninsulated metal deck roof was absorbing intense solar radiation throughout the day, turning the interior space into a heat trap. Without a proper thermal barrier, radiant heat was conducting directly into the building, causing indoor temperatures to skyrocket, stressing the air conditioning units, and creating an uncomfortable environment for the occupants inside.

Our team installed a multi-layer reflective aluminum insulation sheet directly beneath the metal roof structure. This premium insulation foil acts as a shield, reflecting up to 97% of radiant heat away from the building’s interior. We paid close attention to overlapping joints and perimeter sealing to create a tight thermal break, which also serves as a secondary vapor barrier to prevent internal condensation and protect the metal sheets from rust.
